Today was filled with all kinds of Wednesday goodness. Even yesterday had its share of yumminess - I saw the movie version of Guys and Dolls for the first time, among other things. Marlon Brando was such a cutie back then! As ostensibly opposed as I am to the man swooping in and disabusing the damsel of her fundamental beliefs, I still get all a-tingly when they kiss for the first time. And it certainly sugarcoats it when they break into song along the way. You know how Ally McBeal has a theme song? Well, "If I Were a Bell" is definitely in the running for mine.
But I was talking about today. I suppose being a productive studier counts, but really, I was just looking for an excuse to use the phrase "Wednesday goodness." Doesn't it deserve its own make-believe anecdote?
Some things I learned today while studying for my finals:
- The chords to the song Paper Towel by Jude
- That weaving pine boughs into a wreath is a lot harder than Martha makes it look
- That all those people who said peanut butter and pickles was good weren't just smoking crack (I really have to go grocery shopping!)
- And something about lambda calculus and type inference systems for my programming languages class, but I really don't remember that one too well
