Twenty-five thousand Portlanders converged on the park blocks this weekend to protest the administration's war policy. (For comparison: Washington D.C. had thirty thousand protesters. Many were bussed in from other states.) Karren, Steve, and I joined in the milieu, absorbing all the fervent pacifism. Then we went to see Bowling for Columbine. Next we're moving to Canada.
